I wish more restaurants would follow suit. Very easy to pull out and sit close to the table.

Something else I appreciated was that their chairs are comfortable and very lightweight. It's a nice restaurant with a great view, attentive staff, and for the most part really good food that you can enjoy as much of as you like. People will balk at the $40 price for this meal, but honestly it's not that bad. I wish I had saved room for more of the bread pudding! The mint chocolate macaron, and the bread pudding were the stand outs here. I wasn't very tempted by the dessert options. (And I'll be honest, there might have been some more options that I missed) I sampled the brisket, which was so flavorful and completely tender, chicken that was in an olive sauce, olive & feta salad, and probably my favorite of the regular food items was the flank steak with yucca, amazing! I would suggest adding a couple more side dish items, there were some baby potatoes, but mashed potatoes, a rice dish, or mixed veggies would have been nice as well. I enjoyed my lunch selections even more than breakfast. There was an assortment of seafood dishes that I did not partake in, but my friends enjoyed them. I liked that the eggs were soft as well, overcooked scrambled eggs are just not appetizing. The grits had a few lumps by the time I got around to them but they still had great flavor and were overall creamy. Those are two difficult things for a lot of restaurants to get right, but Jackson's pulled it off.

The bacon was well prepared and the grits were good.

You had your standard breakfast offerings plus a custom omelet station. Drinks were brought expediently, water filled before glasses became empty, plates cleared quickly, and checked often to see if we needed anything. The waitstaff was exceptional and cordial. The restaurant is lovely and you have a view of the waterfront from nearly every table. You stole my time and my money!!! I am sad that I will never eat at or recommend Origami sushi again.Visited for the first time today for their Sunday Brunch. Why did you do that? That is horrible to blame the staff? Didn’t you hire the server? This is your issue as a manager not mine as a customer. What? 45 minutes for 5 items is OK? How is that possible 3 pre made appetizers and one sushi roll and a soup takes over an HOUR to get to the table? The manager blames the waitress for the difference between the time when I was sat and when the order was placed.

It was explained to me “THAT MY TICKET HAD ONLY BEEN OPEN FOR 45 MINUITES”. Now to the best part!!!! I asked to speak with the manager and DING! DING! DING! You guessed it, here comes the millennial with the nose ring to tell me that I did everything wrong (that I did, I did not get up and leave) and refused to take anything off the bill for the worst dining experience I have had in years. I have eaten there before and know the difference) and one order of sushi to make it to the table. IT TOOK 50 minutes for 3 pre made appetizers, a bowl of soup (with under cooked noodles, yes under cooked noodles.

3 appetizers, a bowl of soup and a sushi roll. We have eaten there a lot before so we all knew what we wanted. At that time, we placed everything at once, drinks and our meal. We waited for 10 minutes (not included in the time below) before the server came by to take our drink order. We showed up and were happy that there was no wait, we were seated promptly….and that is the best part of the whole night. The worst dining experience EVER!!! BEWARE!!! In my experience when the manager argues with you after a horrible experience and will not take anything off the bill, the business has financial issues and who wants to eat at the sushi restaurant that buys the “cheap fish”, you may have better luck with gas station sushi!!! I cannot tell you enough about my horrible dining experience.
